About Bültel

In 1964, the Bernard (*1928 – ✝ 2021) and Hermann Bültel (*1933 – ✝ 2018) brothers founded the Bültel Bekleidungswerke, originally in a former cinema hall in Bahnhofstraße in Salzbergen. Swiftly, and just two years later, the move to the current site on Rheiner Straße in Salzbergen followed, which would soon be followed by several other construction measures.

A pioneering spirit and progress could soon be seen. By the early 70s, the Messrs Bültel had founded their own production facility in the Philippines, followed by other international production sites and a procurement office in Hong Kong. To this day, there is a production focus in Vietnam and the Philippines.

Today, the Bültel International Fashion Group is a globally active fashion company in the men’s and women’s fashion sector. With its own brand CALAMAR and hattric, as well as the licensed camel active collection, this Salzbergen-based company has been successfully established on the market for more than 50 years.

More than 2,000 employees worldwide are committed to successful collections and continuous growth. With a successful team, first-class sales and production partners all over the world and its own production plants in Asia, the Bültel Group is setting standards for jackets, coats, sports jackets, waistcoats, shirts, knitwear and hosiery goods, as well as trousers and accessories.
